Kyra, aka HoneyBun, is a very affectionate/people friendly dog who was abandoned by her owner when she was hospitalized.
Sadly, her former owner is now in a nursing home and Kyra is living in a boarding kennel that was only to be a temporary place for her. She is a fan favorite there, but she is reactive to other dogs, so she would need to be the only dog in the home. Otherwise, she is a perfect guest at the kennel and in need of a loving home like yours.
Monkey is a big boy at 68 lbs, A bit standoffish at first, but once he warms up he enjoys butt scratches, laid back guy and is a big love bug. He is UTD on his shots. He would be a good fit for a low-enegy, laid back family, available to snuggle up next to you while watching TV!. Monkey would need a high fence to keep him confined or kept on a leash.
Indifferent to other dogs.
November 2022 - Monkey is now Champ and has happily been adopted to Donald in Baltimore.

Coco is a 5 year old spayed female Shar-Pei/Boxer mix rescue from MACSPRO.
2 ½ yr old, very sweet affectionate and very playful girl. Boba came to MACSPRO through someone who purchased her from a breeder and saw she needed medical attention which they could not afford after her purchase. She was thankfully surrendered to MACSPRO and is currently staying at a vet in New York near PA where she received her medical care overseen by a MACSPRO adopter who works there. She is now looking for her forever home.
Ana is a 4 yr old sweet girl, UTD on shots and spayed. She is good with other dogs and kids.
Skin issues in earlier pictures (when first rescued) have much improved due to meds, better food and medicated baths.
Update 9/2021: Ana was adopted by her new mommy Laura an daddy Chris in Rockville, MD. We are so happy for Ana and as you can see Ana is very happy as well.
Poppy is a 5-year-old, Shar Pei mix (we believe Jack Russell Terrier). He is a laid-back boy who loves being outside in a fenced in yard. Poppy is good with kids but needs to be the only dog in the home.
May 2021 - Poppy was finally adopted by his new dad Adam in Maryland. We are so happy for them.
Mustafa is a 12-year-old super sweet fella who was sent to the shelter when his owner passed. He likes to be petted, and especially loves belly rubs. Mustafa is up to date on his shots. He is looking for his forever home. Mustafa is really a special boy that is just so loving and trusting. He let us give him a bath 10 minutes after picking him up.
Misty is a 3-year-old loving and energetic girl. She is looking for a home where she is the only pet. A fenced-in yard is a must as Misty loves being outside in the yard and going on long walks/hikes.
March 2021 - Misty was adopted to a wonderful daddy Wilson in VA. We are so happy for her and her new dad.
Beverly is a sweet, 4 yr old who ended up in the shelter when her owner couldn’t take her when she moved. She gets along with other cats & dog. Looking for foster/forever home for this nice girl.
