Fostering a Shar-pei
We are always looking for temporary foster homes. It is easier for our dogs to adjust if they are in a private home versus a kennel, plus the foster parents can give more information on the dogs.
To foster parent a Shar-Pei, you are required to provide a living environment, in your home, that will allow the dog a place for recovery, socialization, and exercise. We provide vet expenses, monthly heart worm preventative, as well as publish ads for the placement of these dogs. As a foster parent, you will be expected to transport the dog to the vet, when required, groom the dog, and be available to show the dog to potential adopters.
For more information on our foster program, please give us a call and we will be happy to discuss this with you. If you are interested in fostering, please fill out a Foster Home Agreement and send or fax it to us.
