Candy is a very sweet, 2 yr old girl, who loves everyone she meets.
Good with kids and other dogs.
Currently in foster in DC with 3 other shar-pei.
UTD on shots, spayed and recently had her entropion surgery.
She’s a wonderful dog, waiting for the great home she deserves!
Chubby is a very lovable 8 yr old, neutered boy. Up-to-date on his shots. His foster family says he know a lot of commands and is very smart.
He is very people oriented, loves to snuggle and will roll over for belly rubs. Good around other dogs and not interested in cats.
Very playful, walks well on his leash and loves car rides. Would be best in a home with older or adult children as he does have resource guarding around his food.
The Southern Senior Gentleman is the perfect dog!
Walks great on the leash, gets along with other dogs and is fairly quiet.
He is currently in a foster home but looking for a forever home.
Bugsy is 10 years old, but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying walks and going places with his foster family.
Rocket is 5 years, about 40 lbs.
Rocket is a very sweet, low-maintenance dog.
He loves to nap - sometimes flat on his back with all four legs in the air.
Typical Shar-Pei personality - He’s loyal to his people, generally gets along with other dogs and children, and is just a very calm presence.
He is a little reserved around unfamiliar people and can be stubborn at times, but positive reinforcement works well for him.

Max, aka Budders is with Faithful Friends Animal Society in Wilmington, DE and currently in a foster home, looking for his forever home.
***PENDING ADOPTION *** Gunner is a 18 months old male, 64lbs, very sweet boy. He is good on leash and with other dogs. Like most sharpei he is shy at first and just needs a few to build trust but bonds nicely. He is a very affectionate boy giving kisses and hugs, loves to be pets, belly rubs and verbal when he is ready for his walk.
Kyra, aka HoneyBun, is a very affectionate/people friendly dog who was abandoned by her owner when she was hospitalized.
Sadly, her former owner is now in a nursing home and Kyra is living in a boarding kennel that was only to be a temporary place for her. She is a fan favorite there, but she is reactive to other dogs, so she would need to be the only dog in the home. Otherwise, she is a perfect guest at the kennel and in need of a loving home like yours.
