Lady Blue is our new regal looking blue girl. She's currently quite nervous and very thin. Came in to us without any vaccines, so we had to give her a full first round in mid July and will complete them in 3 weeks. She has already been spayed but definitely needs entropic surgery. Currently she prefers the company of ladies.
Update: (08/2014) Lady Blue (now know as IndiGo), is chilling in her furever home in York, PA
Chunk is our gentle boy that is just now getting used to walking on a leash. His previous owners kept him in a small crate for his entire life. Chunk is currently with a foster family to help him transition. Chunk is very friendly and loves giving kisses to everyone he meets. Hopefully he will have his furever home soon!
Update: Chuck is now enjoying his furever home in New York.
Lady came in with Chunk and is also only used to life in a small crate. This gentle girl is currently being fostered where she is getting used to the freedom of a real home that includes walks on leashes.
Update: (7/2014) Lady was a foster failure and is enjoying her new life
Sunshine is our 8 month old on her way up from the same part of West Virginia from which Scrappy came. She can be a bit shy but she loves people.
Update: (June 2014) Sunshine is currently being fostered with the intent to adopt.
Scrappy from West Virginia, is recovering from Demodectic (non contagious) mange and really needs a foster or forever home to complete his recovery . His foster mom in West Virginia says he is an awesome dog.
Update: (05/2014) Scrappy, now Peiton, is living the good life in D.C.
Tonka, our gentle blind boy is scared in his new surroundings and misses having a family to be with. Tonka is very sweet and gets along with other dogs. He really needs a foster or forever home.

Skittles is a loving dog from Prince Georges County. She gets along great with other dogs and loves attention from people.

Bella, our beautiful girl with some separation anxiety. Bella is a cute girl from Chambersburg, PA was an owner turn in because they moved and were not allowed to keep her in their new home. She is completely house trained, spent much of her time inside. Very gentle, walks nicely on leash. She needs to be spayed, but pretty much ready to go.
We need foster to help her work with her separation anxiety.
Update: Bella is now living in PA in her new furever home (3/2014).
Stroudsburg, PA: Meet Ray-Ray, a 5 year old male Shar Pei. Ray is now ready for his new home having recently healed from eye surgery. He is a really laid back guy who was abandoned by his first owner. The recent owners kindly took him in but must now move and cannot take him. Ray is 70lbs, up to date on shots, housebroken and neutered. He is very good around children and other dogs. Ray knows some basic commands such as sit, paw, no, etc. He enjoys rolling around in the grass and loves any kind of meat flavored treat. He likes to sleep at the foot of bed in the bedroom with his people.
Opie is a great Pei coming in from Fairfax, VA. He hasn't been with us long but he has already made it obvious how much he loves treats and loves affection even more. He's ready to be your best friend immediately.
