He loves Beggin' Strips. Mr. Wrinkles is currently being leash trained. He does not like being picked up from behind or under his tummy. Harley (#539-15)

Harley

Harley is coming to us from Clarion, PA.  His owners couldn't handle him marking the house so they felt like they had to give him up.  We've helped Harley with his marking by getting him neutered and after the surgery we will work with him some more to address his marking.  Harley's previous owners state that he is good with other dogs.  Harley needs a foster or adoptive family to help him grow up to be a great family Pei.

Update (4/2015): Harley is now enjoying life with his new forever family in Hagerstown, MD.

Blue (#538-15)

Blue

Blue came to us from Anne Arundel County. Blue's former family included three kids and two Pomeranians. Unfortunately when his family moved they couldn't take him with them.  Blue loves people and gets excited when on walks. Blue's foster dad says he is one of the most affectionate dogs he has ever met.

Update (5/2015): Blue's Cherry eye surgery went really well.  He has been doing well in foster and is still waiting for his forever home.

Update (6/2015): Blue was adopted by his foster dad! Congrats on your furever home, Blue!

Harrison (#536-15)

Harrison

Harrison is a young Pei that was surrendered by his owners to his veterinarian.  He previously had parts of a toy stuck in side of him and his veterinarian made sure he received the proper care (surgery, antibiotics, heart worm testing, Bordetella, etc.) by donating their time and resources.  He has a very sweet personality and the staff at the veterinarian office really like him.  So far he appears to be ok with other dogs.  Harrison is currently enjoying life with his foster family while waiting for his forever home.

Oliver (#532-15)

Oliver

Oliver, previously Wanderer, is one of the 66 Shar Pei that was rescued from a hoarder situation in Berkeley County, South Carolina. Oliver is a bit timid but loves gentle pets to his face and head. Oliver was used to living in a tiny crate for most of his life so he is unsure of what to do when in a larger environment. He needs a calm home and gentle guidance. Oliver is currently receiving heartworm treatment.

Update (4/2015): Oliver went to his forever family in Orefield, PA where he will have his Pei sister to help him learn how to live a good dog life.
