Fostered

Fabi (#616-18)

Fabi is a feisty 5-year-old girl. She requires a fenced in yard and to be the only pet in the home but is good with kids.  Fabi is extremely food/treat modivated and loves, loves, loves to play and is just funny, lovable and adoriable.  A family with shar-pei experience is recommended.

Fabi is curently being fostered.

July 2021 - Fabi was returned to MACSPRO and is looking for a foster and her forever home.

May 2021 - Fabi was adopted by her new mom and dad Jon and Katie and will now live in Pennsylvania.  We are so happy for this new addition to their family.

Zephyr (#603-18)

Zephyr is being fostered in North Carolina with Zora (#602-18).  He is waiting to be neutered.   Zephyr is very sweet, but frightened.  We are looking for a foster home where Zephyr recover from his neutered surgery and get healthy together.   A fenced in yard is preferred since he does not know how to walk on a leash.

Zena

My name is Zena, but I'm affectionately known as Zena Bean. Wagging my tail is my absolute favorite thing to do; and it's contagious, too! When my foster mommy gets excited, she even does a "zena wag" herself. I am an amazingly cute pug and shar pei mix. I am approximately 3 years old and I simply ADORE all people. I enjoy walks and even jogging with my foster mom. I am fully vetted, crate trained and house trained. Did I mention I smile all time? That's because I love to be with my people. And, I am great with kids!

Annabelle (#587-17)

Annabelle at her new home with her new playmate!

Annabelle was born approximately February 12th, 2017.  She is beautiful black color coat, very outgoing, ready to play and is going to be a leader!  If you would like to help with Annabelle's medical expenses please make a donation at MACSPRO.org/donate.  Annabelle's adoption fee is $500.  Her vetting and getting her skin condition healed far exceeded her adoption fee to get this sweet little girl healthy and ready for her forever home.  She is a little lion raring to play and interact.  Smart little girl house trained herself.!  If you would like to don

Oscar (#568-17)

Oscar was found as a stray with 2 ruptured eardrums.  MACSPRO made all attempts to clear up the infection that came back as the worst kind of infection.  After several months of antibiotic and cleaning treatments the infection came back full force.  MACSPRO's only alternative was to remove Oscar's eardrums to give him a life without horrific pain and discomfort leaving him deaf.  When Oscar was released from his 3 weeks recovery at the vet hospital he went crazy with excitement when he say his foster Dad and MACSPRO volunteer that visited Oscar often during his stay.  He's still such a smart little guy dragging his foster Dad to the truck when he realized he was going to his foster home.  Once home he quickly reunited with his furry pals, foster Mom, and took a victory lap around both floors of the house.  Everywhere Oscar goes he is the hit of the event, eager to meet and greet everyone, as well as his furry friends he gets to meet.  Oscar seems to no longer be in any pain, and his lack of hearing does not seem to faze him in any way.  Surprisingly Oscar still sit's, give's paw, and lay's down upon command.  His foster family says 'This dog is a keeper!  Smart, and gets along wonderfully with the other dogs'.  Oscar still has a lot of puppy in him and can jump twice his height like a mountain goat.  Just an awesome boy!  Oscar does great with children of all ages.

If you are not able to adopt Oscar but what to contribute to his medical care please click Here and put Oscar's name in the comments.

A SPECIAL THANK YOU!!!!!!  MACSPRO would like to thank Oscar's foster Dad Larry for taking such wonderful care of him, transporting Oscar for his weekly ear treatments, and transport to surgery, consistent visits during his 3 week recovery at the vet, and all the adoption events to get this little guy exposure to meet his future forever family.  Deb Kachik of Deb Kachik Photography for volunteering to take some of the beautiful photo's you see of Oscar.  Thank you so much Deb, you really help bring out Oscar's adorable Pug eye's and handsome stature.

Update 6/11/17  Oscar found his forever home in DC with Mom Irina and pug sister Rosie.
Update (5/18/17): Oscar was reunited with his foster family after spending 3 weeks at the vet hospital recovering from having his ear drums removed.
Update (3/24/17): Because of his current ear condition, we do not recommend a home with children under 14
Update (3/17): Oscar was receiving weekly treatments at the vet to get both ears massive ear infection under control.  These treatment failed and Oscar's eardrums had to be removed.  Even when Oscar was in a massive pain he was still a fantastic playful loving little boy!  Let's give it up for Oscar... gimme an Ooooooooo..... gimme a S....gimme a C....gimme an A.... gimme an R..........
