Adopted

Sniffles (#645-20)

Sniffles was picked up as a stray in Prince George’s County.  He is not doing well at the shelter, not eating and being a typical scared shar pei.   He is friendly, approximately 8 yrs old.  He has been  neutered, UTD on all shots, and microchipped.    Sniffles is currently being fostered and is in need of a furever home after his rough life.  Very sweet boy and loves playing with other dogs.

Piper

Piper is about 4 years old and is very sweet and snuggly. She is great with kids and other people. Though skeptical of strangers, she quickly warms up to them. She has played well with dogs before, but doesn’t do well with aggressive dogs and can be easily rattled is conflict is instigated. She just needs a little behavior training. I would not recommend housing her with a cat.  She is great indoors and loves having plenty of space to run around in. A fenced in back yard would be ideal! She requires a consistent schedule for using the bathroom.

Pancha (#642-19)

Pancha is 3 years old, 51 lbs female spayed shar-pei currently in Puerto Rico and needs a foster or adopter so she can come to the US. She is the mom of Teddy (631-19), who was a MACSPRO pei adopted in August 2019.  While Teddy was being adopted to a wonderful VA dad Roger his mom was back in Puerto Rico recovering after being attacked by a machete.  Yes, a machete.  Pancha wound has completely healed; she has recovered and is a sweet dog.  Once you gain her trust she is such a happy girl, happy to see you and wagging her tail.

Max (#639-19)

***NO MORE APPLICATIONS PLEASE/PENDING ADOPTION/PROCESSING APPLICATIONS*** Max is an amazing sweet boy we believe to be approximately 2 years old.  He is currently in a shelter at animal control in MA.  His family was seriously hurt in a car accident.  With the family unable to care for Max he was given to a family friend that lived in a building that was not allowed to have animals.  Max then ended up at animal control with no where to go.  Max was assessed by animal control trainers and was indifferent to other dogs and passed everything.  We are currently trying to obtain transportation

Grizzly Bear (#636-19)

***PENDING ADOPTION*** Grizzly Bear "Buddy" is here!  Good with other dogs & kids.  Loves everyone he meets; loves to be touched especially neck and belly rubs.  Will be available after he has necessary medical work done.  Grizzly Bear is handicapped due to an old injury that damaged his front right leg that required an amputation. He is learning to get around very well.   MACSPRO is going to get this sweet little guy all fixed up and ready for great days ahead.  He is just so lovable.  Don't let this little guy get away!

Barry (#635-19)

Barry was a stray that decided to stay with a family in NC, but unfortunately, they couldn’t keep him. He’s a very sweet boy, very energetic and gets along with other dogs, cats.   He loves kids, but would do best in a home with older children.   He loves playing fetch!  He loves playing fetch!  Barry is in need of a foster and will do best with an experienced shar-pei owner.
