Elmer is approximately 2 years old. He is very sweet, and still has a ton of puppy energy! He loves to play with staff in our play yard. He is up to date on his vaccines, and neutered. He has done really well with most of the dogs he has met at the shelter.
Fabi is a feisty 5-year-old girl. She requires a fenced in yard and to be the only pet in the home but is good with kids. Fabi is extremely food/treat modivated and loves, loves, loves to play and is just funny, lovable and adoriable. A family with shar-pei experience is recommended.

July 2021 - Fabi was returned to MACSPRO and is looking for a foster and her forever home.
May 2021 - Fabi was adopted by her new mom and dad Jon and Katie and will now live in Pennsylvania. We are so happy for this new addition to their family.
Zephyr is being fostered in North Carolina with Zora (#602-18). He is waiting to be neutered. Zephyr is very sweet, but frightened. We are looking for a foster home where Zephyr recover from his neutered surgery and get healthy together. A fenced in yard is preferred since he does not know how to walk on a leash.
Luna recently had her spay and entropin surgeries and is ready to go to her forever home. Luna is a 2 yr old girl that loves people, but not so much other dogs.
She’s looking for someone who’s available to help her with her social skills and walking on a leash.
Nugget is a 2-year-old male Shar-Pei, approximately 50 lbs. He is good with kids, other dogs and cats. Very friendly, playful big boy. LOVES attention and gentle taking treats.

Coco is approximately 3 yr old, dog social, spayed/UTD on vaccinations, dog friendly. She also has the most expressive ears of any dog we’ve ever met! She’s extremely sweet.

Annabelle was born approximately February 12th, 2017. She is beautiful black color coat, very outgoing, ready to play and is going to be a leader! Oscar was found as a stray with 2 ruptured eardrums. MACSPRO made all attempts to clear up the infection that came back as the worst kind of infection. After several months of antibiotic and cleaning treatments the infection came back full force. MACSPRO's only alternative was to remove Oscar's eardrums to give him a life without horrific pain and discomfort leaving him deaf. When Oscar was released from his 3 weeks recovery at the vet hospital he went crazy with excitement when he say his foster Dad and MACSPRO volunteer that visited Oscar often during his stay. He's still such a smart little guy dragging his foster Dad to the truck when he realized he was going to his foster home. Once home he quickly reunited with his furry pals, foster Mom, and took a victory lap around both floors of the house. Everywhere Oscar goes he is the hit of the event, eager to meet and greet everyone, as well as his furry friends he gets to meet. Oscar seems to no longer be in any pain, and his lack of hearing does not seem to faze him in any way. Surprisingly Oscar still sit's, give's paw, and lay's down upon command. His foster family says 'This dog is a keeper! Smart, and gets along wonderfully with the other dogs'. Oscar still has a lot of puppy in him and can jump twice his height like a mountain goat. Just an awesome boy! Oscar does great with children of all ages.

Chica has been returned to MACSPRO due to no fault of her own. There were family barriers that kept them from keeping this sweet girl. Chica is a sweet loving girl that loves to play with other dogs & kids. She will make a great family dog. Currently in foster but needs a forever home.
Update (7/30/170 Chica went to her furever home in Columbia, MD where she will get to play with new furry brothers Bear & Linus and lots of love and kisses from her new mom Vicki.
